Next Saturday, October 24 a historical reenactment of questionable accuracy is taking New York by storm: the Marshmallow Civil War. You can participate by showing up at 3:00 pm on the dot at Brooklyn Banks, the park is in Manhattan under the Brooklyn Bridge. The battle is BYO marshmallows and weaponry.
How to Participate: Combatants must bring their own bag of (just one) of marshmallows. Teams will be divided at the meeting point into Yellow and Red. Checkhere for more info.
Weaponry: Anything goes as long as you are shooting marshmallows. For instructions on how to make your own pneumatic cannon for launching … marshmallows, click here. You likely can find all components at your local hardware store.
For the Lazies: You can (literally) buy a marshmallow shooter on Amazon.
